This week on Skream & Benga they’ve selected three of their favourite artists to supply guest mixes for their Spring Break Special. They’ve called upon dubstep legend Coki, Dirtybird’s go-to-girl J.Phlip and rising bass star Trampa.
First up, one third of DMZ alongside Mala and Loefah, Coki is one of the pioneers of the dubstep sound and, despite having been there since day one, this is the first time he’s ever done a mix for Radio 1! BIG NEWS! Next up is J.Phlip, she’s been DJing and releasing with Claude VonStroke’s San Francisco label Dirtybird and is an ambassador of the booty-clap house sound. Last, but by no means least, Trampa is stepping up. Since hammering his tracks Jurassic and Catch That the boys thought he’d be perfect for the Slammers & Bangers mix.
