Boiler Room celebrate 10 years of Burial’s peerless second album Untrue, released on Hyperdub back in 2007 which without doubt changed the face of underground music. Joining Boiler Room’s Gabriel in the talk are BBC tastemaker Benji B and Keysound Recordings bossman Martin Clark aka Blackdown. The show dissects the album and its influence within the UK and wider underground music in the proper depth it deserves and for the real heads there’s also the inclusion of audio of two much sought after and currently unreleased Burial compositions: True Love VIP and an alternate version of U Hurt Me.
If you already know the album this is probably the deepest insight into it ever recorded. For those who don’t know the album they are quite possibly about to have a watershed moment in their musical education!
