2013 sees bass music progressing at an relentless pace, mutating fluidly across different genres and styles. Reflecting that progression, GetDarker come with a broad lineup, expanding on dubstep roots with an injection of grime, drum & bass, garage and house, maintaining our focus on heavyweight bass from exceptional underground artists. So diarise Saturday 23rd February 2013 at Fire club in Vauxhall, London.
Grammy-nominated electronic don Photek heads up the bill and is sure to take the crowd on a journey the way only he can. Octobers Essential Mix is a serious contender for best of the year, and this godfather of bass needs no introduction.
Also on the lineup is the Shogun Audio front runners Icicle & Alix Perez with an ‘alternative’ back to back set. In addition to this we have System’s VI.V.E.K back to back with Tempa’s J-Kenzo. With Preditor being one of the most exciting names in Grime right now, he’s sitting nicely on the bill as is rising talent Thelem.
We’ve still got more names to announce but cannot for now – but what we can share is that all this will be POWERED BY RC1 SOUNDSYSTEM (with no restrictions)!…say no more!
