In this ever evolving digital era, the majority of labels have been cornered into releasing their music digitally, along with vinyl – sensibly in some circumstances, and in most recent cases, many have often considered, or even already moved entirely to digital only instead of vinyl. Some opinions of fans struggle to accept such decisions, but its an obvious move for most with the ever falling number of record stores.
Refreshingly, whilst all the above is a fair summary of the vast majority of labels (perhaps unfortunately), Vivek has announced he and his label System Music will not be continuing with digital after their next instalment – SYSTM004.
